The background

Stuart first became a client in 2013 when he chose to go it alone and set up his own corporate finance business having worked in that sector for a large accountancy firm for many years. He has aspirations to build an independent business that focused on providing excellent client service and relationships to SME clients.

In 2016, Stuart acquired Castle Corporate Finance (“Castle”) to accelerate his growth plans and has since built the business to a team of six and grown revenues by over 300%. Castle is recognised as one of the leading independent corporate finance team’s in the South East.

Richard Place Dobson helped support Stuart from the incorporation of his first business, its acquisition of Castle, and through to its current position. We’ve provided a full service of management accounting, payroll, year-end accounting and tax reporting, as well as personal tax support. We’ve also provided a lot of advice on bespoke and growth-related aspects to help Stuart as the business grows.
